The rotary engine lives on ( at least till June ) Mazda RX8

The Mazda Rx8 ( the last production vehicle to be powered by a rotary engine ) which was out of production, has been given a reprieve at least until June 2012. This is for an additional 1000 JDM vehicles.

I would like it if Mazda made a retro RX3 powered by a 20B..... :-)

This is a great idea for pilots who want more flexibility, or car owners who want to fly. The Terrafugia flying car is expected to be able to fly 400-500 miles in 3.5 - 4 hours and runs on pump gas.

Priced at US$279,000 it is an interesting prospect.
