The rotary engine lives on ( at least till June ) Mazda RX8

The Mazda Rx8 ( the last production vehicle to be powered by a rotary engine ) which was out of production, has been given a reprieve at least until June 2012. This is for an additional 1000 JDM vehicles.

I would like it if Mazda made a retro RX3 powered by a 20B..... :-)

Terrafugia flying car

This is a great idea for pilots who want more flexibility, or car owners who want to fly. The Terrafugia flying car is expected to be able to fly 400-500 miles in 3.5 - 4 hours and runs on pump gas.

Priced at US$279,000 it is an interesting prospect.

2013 Mercedes Benz SL65 AMG

With  a fresh restyle the 2013 SL65 AMG is a powerhouse. The output of the twin turbo V12 engine is now 621 HP ( up from a meager 604 HP ) at 22 PSI and the hard top convertible will sprint from 0-60 MPH in 3.9 seconds. Top speed is limited too 186MPH.

On top of it, the weight of the car over the previous model has decreased by about 250 lbs and fuel consumption has decreased. With a price tag north of $199,000, you best like the way it looks!

Ferrari F12 Berlinetta

This good looking Ferrari is the replacement for the 599 GTB Fiorano. The F12 Ferrari is the most powerful road model in Ferrari's history. The engine is a 6.2-liter (6262cc) V12 that produces 730 bhp and 509 lb-ft of torque, connected to a dual-clutch transmission. The F12 in the right hands will accelerate from 0-62 MPH in 3.1 seconds, 0-124 mph in 8.5 seconds, which is mindblowingly fast. Top speed is 211 mph. Check out the full report here
